The unit is designed for electroplating small parts in bulk, except for coatings made of fluorinated electrolytes, chrome plating, and anodic oxidation.
The basis of the installation is a bath made of St. 3 material lined with polyvinyl chloride plastic or polypropylene. On the side of the bath, support bearings are installed, which support the frame with an electric drive and a hexagon drum with a lid that is immersed in the bath.
The drum is assembled from cast polypropylene panels. Two cathode tips are inserted inside the drum. The drum and the parts loaded into it are balanced by power springs and a counterweight. The drum is lifted manually or mechanically, depending on the model. For unloading the drum, a perforated stainless steel tray is provided for unloading parts.
To control the drum drive and electric heaters, the unit is equipped with an electric cabinet with a push-button remote control. For the supply of process current, the bath is equipped with anode rods. The baths can be equipped with various rectifier units and other components, depending on the technological process.
