Manufacturer of galvanic equipment for coating metal products
Bell baths
Description.
Bell baths are designed for applying electrochemical coatings to small parts in bulk, except for chrome plating, aluminum anodizing and electropolishing operations.
The bath is a container with a submersible rotating perforated bell made of polypropylene and connected to a rotation drive. The rotation drive consists of a gear motor, a shaft, a current line and brackets with which the drive is attached to the bath. The mirror of the bath solution is closed with a lid made of thin-sheet stainless steel. To load the parts into the bell, a tray is provided, which is attached to the drive brackets.
Unloading of the parts is carried out by tipping the bell through the discharge tray into a perforated basket inserted into the tank. The bath can have a cooling coil or an electric steam heater. The temperature of the solution in the bath is monitored visually by a thermometer. To remove harmful secretions from the solution mirror, the bath is equipped with an onboard suction.
The body of the bath is steel, lined with plastic or made of polypropylene. For the supply of process current, the bath is equipped with anode rods. The baths can be equipped with various rectifier units and other components, depending on the technological process.
