Description.
The unit is designed for filtration and dewatering of suspensions during wastewater treatment in electroplating production, as well as in the production of sugar, starch, dyes, etc.
The installation consists of a drum vacuum filter, a vacuum pump, a receiver, a service platform, a frame, a pipeline layout, and a control panel.
Under the action of the vacuum created by the vacuum pump in the receiver, the filtrate flows from the vacuum filter to the lower part of the receiver, from there it is taken and sent to the collector or to the sewer. The sludge from the outer surface of the drum of the vacuum filter is removed using a knife installed along the entire length of the drum.
